SAVANNAH – Zoe Hill, 90, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

She was born September 24, 1922 in Cobbtown, Georgia and lived in Savannah for most of her life before moving to Jacksonville.

She spent most of her career as a bookkeeper and was a longtime very active member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Pam Bentley of Jacksonville; her son, Mr. Paul Hill of Savannah; her sister, Mrs. Ollie Shuman; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8th, and 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9th at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with Rev. Larry Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Farrer, Jerry Gill, Olin Veale, Dave Honeycutt, Charles Smith, R. L. Lowe, Jim Chavers and Charles Bragg.

The family suggests any remembrances be made in her memory to Immanuel Baptist Church.
